A familiar moment
The parent seeking calm maths support before a return to school
You are in a tuition session when a parent calls about a young person preparing to return after time away from school. Ziverly can capture who is calling and their stated relationship, the learner's age or education stage at a broad level, subject and curriculum context, current school, home-education or alternative-provision arrangement, priorities in the family's words, communication, sensory or session preferences they choose to share, existing SENCO, teacher, tutor, educational psychologist, therapist or local-authority involvement, location, preferred format and times, household access and preferred contact. It does not diagnose or assess a special educational need, interpret an EHCP or professional report, recommend teaching, behavioural, therapeutic or safeguarding approaches, test the learner, promise progress, qualifications, compatibility, vetting, availability or a place, quote or book tuition. Immediate safeguarding, welfare, mental-health or medical concerns require the appropriate responsible, safeguarding, clinical or emergency route rather than routine follow-up.
